Meet Smurfit Kappa!
They are the #1 company in Europe responsible for corrugated packaging, container board and the trademarked ‘Bag in Box’. They are industry leaders in packaging with 350 production sites around the world, with 23 countries in Europe.
What were they looking for?
They have a great product and wanted more brand awareness around it. They were also building a new sub-brand called ‘Speciality’, which housed the speciality brands under Smurfit Kappa. BeeCore was contracted to create creative assets to highlight the Crash Lock Box.
Who was the target audience?
Operation teams that pack thousands of boxes with products, and/or shipping purposes. Smurfit Kappa were targeting teams that typically used cardboard boxes that would be delivered to them flat, and thus required assembly. The Crash Lock Box would go from a flat cardboard to a three-dimensional box in seconds!
What was the BeeCore stategy?
After being given a general brief of what Smurfit Kappa required, we studied several case studies and videos of the real Crash Lock Boxes. Once we understood what Smurfit Kappa’s messaging was, we put together our storyboards, and with a few revisions began animating our video.
